How To

A simple, hands-free way to treat nosebleeds

Faster, easier, cleaner nosebleed rescue that is compact and conveniently fits in your first-aid kit, car, or pocket.

Whether you are a health care professional treating patients, a parent helping your child, or a nosebleed sufferer seeking a solution, here is how to use NasaClip for quick relief:

Bend the head forward and blow forcefully to clear the nose of any clots.

Pull apart pinch pads and rotate them away from the sponges to make it easy to insert both NasaClip sponges into the nostrils with the curve pointing upwards.*

Rotate the clip into place and firmly squeeze shut over the nostrils.

Leave the device in place for 10 to 20 minutes.

Release the clip and check for bleeding. If needed, sponges may be rinsed with clean water, squeezed dry and reinserted 2 to 3 times until bleeding has stopped.

*Children ages 2-5 may not tolerate the nasal sponges. They may be rotated out of the way or can be removed from the wire.

Please see a medical provider if bleeding lasts over 30 minutes. Only use for a single nosebleed episode.
After use, please dispose of the device.

When to use NasaClip

NasaClip is designed to treat anterior nosebleeds, the most common type of nosebleed.

Posterior nosebleeds that originate from arterial bleeding, nosebleeds that last for >30 minutes, or nosebleeds caused by trauma may require medical attention. If you can pinch your nose and stop bleeding without difficulty, your nosebleed is likely to be anterior and can be treated with NasaClip.
